Aluminum

IWM offers fine wire and woven wire mesh products produced from a variety of aluminum alloys. IWM offers aluminum products for US Government and military applications requiring compliance to DFARS 252.225-7008 & -7009 concerning acquisition of Specialty Metals. IWM is in continuous production of fine wire and woven wire mesh products utilizing 5154A aluminum alloy. 5154A typical chemistry and properties are offered below:

Copper & Copper Alloys

IWM offers fine wire and woven wire mesh products produced from a variety of copper and copper alloys. IWM offers products manufactured from annealed or soft Copper (99%+) per ASTM B3 standard for conductive applications such as electrical fine wire & ribbons and shielding applications for RFI, Faraday enclosures, and military TEMPEST protection. IWM offers C200 Brass alloy materials, as well. IWM is typically in production of Commercial Bronze (C220) for use as overbraid shielding for electrical cabling and hardware for marine and high corrosive applications. Stainless Steel

IWM offers woven wire mesh products fabricated from stainless steel. Stainless steel is typically selected for applications where corrosion resistance is required in a wide range of environmental conditions. Typical stainless mesh materials include 17-7 PH® (UNS S17700), 316 (UNS S31600), and 304 (UNS S30400). 17-7PH is typically utilized for applications requiring excellent fatigue properties such as in pressurize vessels and aircraft components. 316 is ideal for resistance to corrosion or pitting in marine or chloride salt environments. By far, 304 stainless is the most used stainless for most corrosion resistant applications and most readily available. 304 Stainless chemical and physical properties are listed below.
